About us

Southern Maine Pediatric Therapies, LLC opened it's doors in Windham in September 2013.  We offer Occupational and Physical Therapy serivices for children birth through school age. We provide ongoing therapy sessions in the clinic, or preschool.  Each session is tailored to meet the objectives of each individual child.  We recoginze that each child is unique and different and treat each as if they  are our own.

Meet our staff

Susanne Martorano, OTR/L is the owner of SMPT.  She Graduated from the Univesity of New England and has over 10 years experience working with children diagnosed with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X, developmetal delays and more.

Sarah Grinder, MOT, OTR/L recently graduated from the Univeristy of Southern Maine and joined SMPT in April 2014.  She has had the opportunity to present original research at AOTA's annual convention, and has over 6 years of experience in teaching and tutoring as well as having the opportunity to complete a fieldwork in Ireland.

Mandi Butler, MOT, OTR/L, recnelty graduated from the University of New England and joined SMPT in September 2014. She has had experience working in the schools during her fieldwork and has worked with children diagnosed with down syndrome, brain injury, developmental delay, autism, and more.  She has a love for sensory integration and working with children.

Nicole Guite, PT joined SMPT in November 2014.  She has over 5 years experience working with children in multiple settings including NICU, early intervention, and in a clinic setting. She has worked with babies diagnosed with torticollis, developmental delay,  brachial plexus, cerebral palsy, and more.  She also has experience in manual therapy techinques such as myofacial release and craniosacral therapy
